The St. Joseph the Worker food pantry exists to provide supplementary donated food to families or individuals in need, in a respectful and dignified manner.

The food pantry is open to the public each Wednesday from 4-5pm in the lower level of the parish administration building. The side entrance, facing our parking lot off of Edwin St. is used to access the pantry.

The pantry keeps a variety of items on hand, including canned goods, pastas, cereals, and more. Our volunteers greet and welcome individuals as well as help sort and organize donations and help assist with the distribution of the donations. Occasionally, help is needed to pickup donated food items locally. Any interested adult or youth is invited to volunteer with our food pantry.

Each month we feature “the food pantry item of the month” – You can find the “item of the month” by checking under the Social Justice section of our bulletin. Items can be dropped off in the boxes located in the back of the church, or at our church office throughout the week.

This is an example of the items given out to those in need on a monthly basis.
