Family Promise’s mission is to help homeless and low-income families achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response. They also offer case-management services to aide family members seeking employment or financial counseling. Up to four families can be at the day center, which is the former Mater Dolorosa Rectory, located at 635 Hepburn St.

We also host family promise at the Castellano Center for Community Outreach around two to three times throughout the year. We are always looking for volunteers to help cook dinner and to stay with our families through the night. If interested, contact Margaret Harpster marhapster@aol.com
