Any women of our parish over the age of 18 are welcome to attend!

Women of the Worker looks to further develop the relationships of our women in the parish, as well as offer continued spiritual growth and support. WOW also strives for outreach within our parish and the surrounding community. At our meetings, we try to plan an event or events for the following month that center around our mission of spiritual, service and social works. Currently, we pray the Rosary every Wednesday at 6:30pm. (in the Portico for the winter, and at the grotto during the summer).
WOW holds an annual wine and cheese meet and greet which takes place in January every year. We also gather a few times throughout the year and make cards for our home bound parishioners and for those at the local nursing homes. We have attended both Diocesan and also local retreats at the Bethany Retreat Center. We recently hosted our first women’s prayer breakfast, in which over 100 women attended! During the summer months, we have held family picnics which are a fun time to get together and socialize. Past events have included assisting with Parish cleanup day, setting up an altar for Corpus Christi Sunday,  and attending Life Chain. We have also setup a Mary undoer of knots during the months of May and October as a means to have our parish prayer intentions lifted up. We have a book club that meets on a monthly basis as well. All ideas for future events are welcome – We try our best to plan a variety that meets the needs of all women within our parish.
