Parish Church, Chapel, Hall, and Offices

Our parish church, office, hall are all located in the historic section of Williamsport, PA. There are three major buildings rooted in history.

The Parish Church of St. Joseph the Worker (702 W 4th St, Williamsport, PA 17701) is Annunciation church built in 1889. The bell tower was not capped with a pointed spire during it’s original construction because of the death of four men working towards its completion. The marble altar, the open vestibule, and the wooden wainscot panels are all original to the building.

The Parish Hall & The Holy Family Chapel (720 W 4th St, Williamsport, PA 17701) are both inside the Fleming Center, which is named after one of the pastors of Annunciation parish, Monsignor William J. Fleming. The Holy Family Chapel is where daily Mass is offered. The Fleming Center was built in order to open up the possibility to celebrate the gift of community at our parish. This building is used by St. Joseph the Worker Parish for many of our functions, and also features multiple rooms on the second floor for Sunday morning Faith Formation.

The Parish Offices (711 W Edwin St, Williamsport, PA 17701) are located in the previous St. Joseph School building which now serves as the Administration Building of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Though we have maintained the school feel by keeping the slate blackboards and all that makes an old school charm, we have updated to accommodate for modern lectures and presentations. Recognizing the need for living the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ and ministering the Corporal and Spiritual works of mercy, the Admin Building is also home to our Food Pantry, which is open to the public every Wednesday from 4pm-5pm.
