A great tradition of the Church is the blessing of Easter Baskets on Holy Saturday morning. The common question is “What do you put in your basket?” The answer is simple: anything! Here is a list of the common food found in the Easter Basket.

Ham- Sausage (kielbasa)

horseradish – red or white

eggs – chocolate- a candle

wine – butter –  salt

bread – (sweet or plain)

cheese – flowers

All wrapped in a fancy napkin and a decorative ribbon
