Novena – Flyer
Novena for Life 6:30pm each night Friday, Sept. 27 (Chapel)
The world is so loud and filled with shouting and noise. The silent whisper of God is often not heard. To begin our Novena, let us take a few moments of silence to listen to His voice.
Saturday, Sept. 28 and Sunday, Sept. 29 We come together as a parish family to pray for a culture of Life in our parish and community. Immediately after Holy Mass we will begin our adoration and prayer.
Monday, Sept 30 Guest Speaker: Theresa Bawx from Rachel’s Vineyard A night of healing and restoration is being offered to us as we pray for those effected by abortion, suicide, addiction, depression, or any of life’s battles. Confessions will be offered for those in need.
Tuesday, Oct. 1 Guest Speaker: Jennifer Hull from Family Promise The Holy Family is an example of family life for us all. However, the culture of death has first attacked the family and separated us from each other. The culture of life call us back home.
Wednesday, Oct. 2 Guest Speaker: Michael Ciccocioppo from Pro Life Federation The culture of death has destroyed fatherhood as we know it. The role of a man is reduced to being a donor and absence. St. Joseph shows us that men are called to authentic fatherhood.
Thursday, Oct. 3 Guest Speaker: Fr. Denis Wilde from Priest’s for Life Tonight focuses on darkness and hope. Through prayers of reparation, light and song we are calling ourselves to recognize the darkness caused by the culture of death and the strength of the Light of Christ.
Friday, Oct. 4 Guest Speaker: Fr. Denis Wilde from Priest’s for Life Every First Friday we celebrate the Sacred Heart of Jesus and His immense love and care for His Body, the Church. Tonight we continue our devotions and come together to celebrate that love which knows our hearts.
Saturday, Oct. 5 Guest Celebrant: Fr. Denis Wilde from Priest’s for Life Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving and Life in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Tonight we celebrate First Saturday devotions and the Immaculate Heart of Mary which leads us to her Son’s Sacred Heart. This night will be celebrated with great joy for the Novena we completed and the hope to come.
Sunday, Oct. 6 Guest Celebrant: Fr. Denis Wilde from Priest’s for Life Today Fr. Wilde will continue to celebrate with us the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and call us to understand our call to bring about a culture of life in our families and community. This will culminate with:
Annual Life Chain 2:00pm
Gathering with Prayers starting at 2:30pm (in front of Red Lobster on Golden Strip) Together we stand and pray for the end of a culture of death, beginning with the end of killing unborn children, and promote and support a renewed culture of life in our world.
