Pastor

I was born and raised in Pottsville, PA. I graduated from the University of Scranton with a Liberal Studies degree in 2000. In 2004, I graduated from Saint Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore MD with an MA in Theology. In 2005, I completed the requirements for board certification in health care ministry from the NACC. In 2007 I graduated from Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia PA with a Masters in Divinity. In 2008, I was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Scranton. My past assignments were assistant pastor at Saint Matthew’s in East Stroudsburg and then Saint Joseph the Worker. I served as the Director of Religious Formation at Saint John Neumann Regional Academy. I served as Administrator of Saint Boniface and Saint Lawrence. Before becoming pastor of Saint Joseph the Worker, I served as pastor of Saint Peter’s in Wellsboro and Saint Thomas the Apostle in Elkland. I am delighted to be back in Williamsport and Saint Joseph the Worker. I consider it a privilege and a gift to serve you.

Mrs. Holly King

Administrative Assistant
E-mail Mrs. Holly King

My name is Holly King.  I have been blessed with the opportunity to join the staff at St. Joseph the Worker Parish as the administrative assistant. I have been attending Mass with my husband Jim King III for many years. In 2012 we were blessed with a son, Jimmy King IV.  It is amazing to watch him grow as we guide him in his journey to know God.  I did not grow up Catholic but always knew God was present in my life.  My relationship with our Lord has been strengthened greatly through my journey in the Church. Watching my husband’s commitment to the parish as he ushers for Mass, helps with maintenance, and is involved with the Knights of Columbus, has been a great inspiration! I do all I can to support him but I wanted to do more.

I completed the RCIA program in 2019.  Father Brian blessed our sacrament of Marriage within the Church just this past year.  I was blessed with the opportunity to teach Kindergarten faith formation this year.  I love to see the little faces of God as I help them with their journey through Christ as they are helping me with mine.

Now as I enter this new chapter of my life as an administrative assistant, I have been blessed to get to know the wonderful staff and especially Ann, who has taken me under her wing.  She has been such an inspiration with her compassion and love for our parish family! I pray that I can serve our Lord in this way and show the same love and commitment to our parish.

Mr. Caleb Cochran

Director of Faith Formation
E-mail Mr. Caleb Cochran

My name is Caleb Cochran and I am the Director of Faith Formation here at Saint Joseph the Worker Parish.  I have lived in Pennsylvania all my life, and in Williamsport since 2003 when I began attending Lycoming College.  Upon graduation in 2007, I remained in Williamsport to begin my working career.  I have been a member of Saint Joseph the Worker parish since 2010, and married my wife Colleen in 2011.  Since then, God has blessed us with six children.  My role at the parish includes the direction of our Faith Formation program for children Pre-K through 12th Grade as well as coordinating youth ministry events.  As our Church teaches, parents are the primary instructors of their children, and our goal is to do all that we can to help parents in that sacred duty.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the parents of our parish as they nurture their children’s relationship with Our Lord.

Hi, my name is Leonard Hazel and I am the maintenance coordinator here at St. Joseph the Worker. I am a husband and father of three girls, two grandsons and a granddaughter. I was raised in Williamsport and graduated from Loyalsock High School. I served in the United States Marine Corps and then worked in the lawn care industry for over 25 years. After joining the parish in 2010 through the RCIA program, I felt the strong need to support the parish any way that I could. Along with the building and grounds committee that serves this parish, it is my honor and passion to maintain the history of our parish community.
