Dear Parishioner,
As you may be aware, today the statewide Grand Jury released its findings after investigating child sexual abuse within six of the eight Dioceses in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
However painful, the report underscores the importance of the child safety policies and procedures that we have put in place, and we will continue our commitment to providing a safe environment for all of our children and youth here at the Diocese of Scranton.
Today Bishop Bambera shared a video address with the faithful of our church, and released a statement to the local media. I encourage you to review these materials via the link noted below and also on our website. You may also share them with others, if you choose to do so.
